Where We Are: Rome EUR

Our Bed & Breakfast is located in Rome in the EUR (Esposizione Universale di Roma) area, which was built just outside the historic city center in the late 1930s to celebrate Rome's Universal Exhibition of 1942, which, due to the beginning of the Second World War, never took place.

Built as a modern version of the Roman Forum, with squares, colonnades and arches all set in a wide open space, is a highly desirable and popular residential area, and business headquarters for ministries and multinational corporations.

The EUR district offers quite a lot of tourist spots worth visiting:

• Palazzo della Civiltà del Lavoro
• Basilica of St. Peter and Paul
• Museum of the Civiltà Romana
• Lake Central Park
• Luna Park
• Palazzo dello Sport (Palalottomatica)
